Planning first long-haul trip – where to start?
Never flown farther than 4–5 hours before. Now looking at Asia or South America and feeling overwhelmed with flight options, layovers, best booking time… Where do people usually begin researching?

Long-haul can be intimidating at first. I usually start with a broad search on https://en.tripmydream.com/ to see realistic price ranges and routes (direct vs. 1-stop). They also have destination guides with visa info, best time to visit, etc., which helped me narrow down Thailand vs Vietnam. Once I have a rough idea, I set price alerts there and check a couple other sites. Makes the process less chaotic.
