Autism + gut issues – regenerative treatments worth exploring?

Good day. My 4-year-old boy has autism + chronic constipation and food sensitivities. GI doctor says possible gut-brain link. We manage diet (gluten/casein-free helped a bit), probiotics, but behaviors still intense. Read about stem cell therapies that supposedly address inflammation in both gut and brain for ASD kids. Has anyone looked into this angle or knows patient stories?

We’ve seen several families report that when stem cell treatment targets systemic inflammation (including gut), some children have fewer meltdowns, better bowel regularity, improved appetite, and calmer overall demeanor - often alongside better focus during therapy. It’s not a fix for core autism traits, but can make daily life easier for some.

One realistic experience that included GI symptom tracking before/after is here https://stemplus.clinic/disease-treatment/autism/ - shows gradual improvements in both behavior and digestion over 9–15 months. Not dramatic for everyone. Get a thorough GI and allergy workup first, and discuss with a pediatrician who understands the gut-brain connection in autism.
